Founder Transition Update
The Founder Control Period has ended, and the Board of Directors has transitioned to majority Owner controlled Board consisting of four (4) Owners and (1) Founder representative. While the Founder Control Period has concluded, we remain committed to collaborating with the HOA Board to address any outstanding items and ensure a seamless handoff.

North Haven Drive Roundabout
As we shared with you last month, the Founder has designed and is installing additional safety enhancements at the North Haven Drive roundabout. These improvements include relocating sidewalks so they will be outside the path of travel in the roadway, applying new striping for (10) pedestrian / golf cart crossings and installing additional pedestrian-friendly signage. Work on these updates is anticipated to be completed soon.
Fassett House Inn & Spa
Progress continues on the pre-construction efforts for the Fassett House Inn & Spa. While there have been some unexpected delays, the Beacon Hospitality team encourages you to stay informed by signing up for updates here.
A Message of Gratitude
On December 30th, 2024, Bayside settled the last home in Coastal Crossing. This marked a major milestone for the master-planned community, welcoming 1451 new home settlements to date. Over the past two decades, Bayside has evolved into a vibrant and thriving community, offering a diverse mix of single-family homes, villas, townhomes, and condominiums. Our retail marketplace has flourished, anchored by Harris Teeter, which was recently ranked the No. 2 supermarket in the country by the 2024 Newsweek Readers' Choice Awards. Additionally, the Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course has been honored with national and regional recognitions such as the #1 Golf Course in Delaware by Golfweek. The Freeman Arts Pavilion has also made an incredible impact, most recently celebrating over a million visitors to enjoy world-class performances.
Bayside has been recognized both regionally and nationally with dozens of awards including Innovative Land Planning for a Mixed-Use Development at the Great American Living Awards, Best Amenity Value and Community of the Year from the Homebuilders Association of Delaware, Best Lifestyle Programming from the National Association of Home Builder’s National Sales and Marketing Council, and has also received the prestigious “Community of the Year Award” in 2018 by the National Association of Home Builders at the Best in American Living Awards.
This milestone stands as a testament to the unwavering sense of camaraderie and collaboration that define Bayside’s essence.
