December 2022 Update

December 2022 Update

Dear Bayside Community Homeowners,

As we move towards the end of the year and the holiday season, we wanted to provide our December update a little earlier. Even though we’re heading into a time of the year when things are typically quiet at Bayside, there’s still a lot of activity going on in the background.

  • Please participate in our 2022 homeowner survey  One response per household. This is an easy way for you to share what you love about Bayside and perhaps some things you think still need some work. We value your input and feedback and look forward to hearing what you have to say. Results will be shared in 2023.
  • The work at Coastal Crossing officially paused last week in compliance with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife permit. Work will resume in July after the current bald eagle nesting season has passed. We have stabilized and secured the site, but for your safety please avoid walking in the area. We will continue to keep you updated during the project.
  • We have completed top paving in all phases of Harbor’s Edge.
  • In North Haven, manhole repairs and patch work are ongoing. We’re waiting for dates on top paving preparation and actual top paving, but temperatures are not looking good. We need 40 degrees or higher and because of recent cold temperatures, some asphalt plants have already shut down. We’ll update you as we know more.
  • During the recent listening sessions there were questions about whether the Carl M. Freeman Companies owns the Fassett House Inn & Spa. CMFC owns the land on which the hotel is being built, and leases it to Beacon Hospitality, which is the developer, owner and operator of the Inn & Spa. CMFC does not have a minority interest in Beacon Hospitality or the hotel, nor do any of its affiliates or related parties.
  • We're working with Club on final punch list items for the North Haven pool as we prepare for the 2023 season!
  • The holidays are a time for lights! The Inaugural Bayside Institute lights competition is under way, so be sure to vote here for your favorite indoor and outdoor decorations throughout the community!

We wish everyone a joyous and safe holiday season and a happy 2023!

Sincerely,
The Carl M. Freeman Companies
